CORONA UPDATE: 24 deaths in 24 hours in Corona, a total of 30,000 identified.

                 In the last 24 hours, 24 people have died due to coronavirus infection in the country. This is the highest number of deaths per day. A total of 432 people have died in the country so far. In 24 hours, 1,794 people have been newly infected with coronavirus in the country. So far, a total of 30,205 people have been infected with corona.

This information was given in the regular online briefing of the Department of Health on Friday on the situation of coronavirus infection in the country.

On Thursday, it was reported that the corona of 1,073 people was identified in the country. 22 people died.

The age-based analysis of the dead showed 5 between the ages of 21 and 30, 3 between the ages of 31 and 40, 2 between the ages of 41 and 50, 5 between the ages of 51 and 60, 6 between the ages of 61 and 60, and 61 to 61. 2 in 60 years and 1 in 81 to 90 years.

57 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 6,190 people have recovered.

According to the briefing, corona tests were performed on 9,626 people in the last 24 hours. Corona is now tested in 47 labs (laboratories) in the country. On March 8, the first corona-infected person was identified in the country. The first death occurred on March 16.

In an online briefing, Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department of Health, Professor Nasima Sultana, urged everyone to abide by the hygiene rules to avoid the risk of corona. Nasima Sultana said, stay at home without the need. Keep the movement outside.

MANIPUR REPORTS TWO FRESH COVID-19 CASES, TALLY REACHES-9 

                Manipur today reported two more covid-19 positive cases. Official sources informed that the two fresh cases have been staying in the quarantine centre at IIIT(Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur) Mantripukhri in Imphal.

The two new cases, a 64-year old mother and her 23-year old daughter, return from New Delhi. The samples of the two tested at RIMS laboratory in Imphal.

They left Delhi by train on May 14 and reached Imphal on May 16 along with other stranded passengers.

The mother-daughter duo pateints went to Delhi in February for treatment. With this, the state records 9 covid-19 cases. Of this, seven are active and two have been discharged or cured.
