Trump delays 'outdated' G7 leaders' summit

Trump delays 'outdated' G7 leaders' summit

US President Donald Trump wants to postpone the summit of the G-7 alliance of industrialized nations for three months from June to get countries like India and Russia together.

"I would like to invite India and Russia to that meeting this time as well,"

Explaining the reason, Trump said that he thinks that sitting down with the current members of the alliance will not be able to understand exactly what the economic situation in the world is like. In his words, "the current member countries are not so much aware of the current world economy."

Apart from India and Russia, he also wants to invite Australia and South Korea to the G-7 summit, the US president said.

When can the G-7 meeting be postponed from June? Trump said that could happen next September. That could be before the UN General Assembly convenes. It may happen again later.
G7 member states include Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States. Earlier, President Trump had hinted that this time the summit of the G-7 alliance could be held at Camp David.

When Rahul Gandhi asked Harvard professor - Brother, tell me when will the vaccine come?

Brother, tell me when will the vaccine come?

When Rahul Gandhi asked Harvard professor - Brother, tell me when will the vaccine come?

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi spoke to two big experts of the world on the issue of Corona virus on Wednesday. During this time the impact of corona virus, injury caused by lockdown was also discussed. During this discussion, Rahul Gandhi asked a question from Professor Ashish Jha of Harvard University, that too in his style in Hindi.

"Yeh bhaiya bataiye ki vaccine kab aayegi?,"

Rahul Gandhi: Brother, tell me when will the vaccine come?
Professor Jha: There is an expectation in three countries that it will come soon, but there is complete hope that the vaccine will be available by next year. India will have to plan for this, because India has to make more than 50 crore vaccine.

Significantly, work is going on in the countries like America, United Kingdom and Israel. Its testing has also started at Oxford University, in which it is expected that the vaccine may come by the end of this year.
However, many experts say that the vaccine will be available only by next year. Because it will be very difficult to make such a large amount of vaccine after successful testing and complete process.

On the other hand, many teams in India are also working on making vaccines, which are also getting help from the Indian government. In such a situation, if the Corona virus vaccine is first formed in India, then it will not be surprising.

During the discussion with the expert, Rahul Gandhi talked about the effects of corona virus, people getting unemployed due to lockdown. He said that after Corona, the world will change completely, but it will also work to bring people together. Because today everyone is fighting the battle against the corona virus by forgetting the caste-religion.
Rahul Gandhi said that the central government and the state governments will have to work on a policy. Because the real battle of corona virus is being fought on the ground

As the Earth's magnetic field getting weak, Human civilization can be paralyze

Earth's Magnetic field

As the Earth's Magnetic field getting weak, Human civilization can be paralyze.

One disaster after another is happening in the world. Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during the Corona virus period, which has paralyzed the world. New disasters may come to the world again. This time there is no disease or cyclone.
The European Space Agency and some satellite images taken by them reported even greater suffering. Analyzing those images and data, the scientists say that the earth's magnetic field is getting weaker. The consequences will be terrible.

Scientists say that the Earth's magnetic field is a type of magnetic field that extends from the interior of the Earth to space. Its surface area is 25 to 65 microtes.

It is because of this powerful magnetic field that our earth is being protected from the millions of cosmic rays scattered throughout the universe. If the Earth's magnetic field were to one day become empty, it would be difficult for life to survive on this planet. Scientists say the magnetic field in a wide area between the continents of South America and Africa is gradually weakening.

Researchers believe that the weakening of the geomagnetic field could be a sign of a change in the Earth's poles. The noise could be from Magnetic North and Magnetic South. The earth's poles changed in the same way 660,000 years ago.
Scientists say that initially mobile, internet, satellites may stop working. Human civilization can be paralyzed. But the light of hope is the same, this event will take many years.

Trump called the World Health Organization a "puppet of China."

puppet of China

US President Donald Trump has threatened to cut off funding to the World Health Organization (WHO) if it does not show significant improvement in the next month. Trump made the threat on the eve of the company's first two-day virtual session on coronavirus on Monday. He also called the World Health Organization a "puppet of China." This information was given in a report of the organization AFP.

Washington announced in mid-April that it had suspended funding to the World Health Organization (WHO), accusing the agency of siding with Beijing and speaking on their behalf. He also complained of mismanagement of the coronavirus epidemic.

In a tweet yesterday, Trump released a picture of a letter written to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Gebreasus.

"If the World Health Organization (WHO) does not commit to significant changes within the next 30 days, I will uphold the decision to suspend temporary funding to the WHO and consider keeping US membership in the WTO,"

Trump has repeatedly complained that the virus that caused the global epidemic came from a Chinese lab. China has not warned the United States in the past to sabotage its re-election program. Trump instructed U.S. intelligence to make further inquiries about the origin of the virus.

Earlier, Trump sharply criticized the World Health Organization, saying the agency should be ashamed. It is as if they are playing the role of a Chinese public relations agency or PR agency.

Discussions have begun around the 73rd World Health Assembly, which began in Geneva on Monday. Hundreds of countries have called for an international inquiry into the source of the epidemic at the World Health Organization. However, the United States has already set its sights on China. In the meantime, Trump fired a cannon.

Criticizing the World Health Organization for failing to deal with Corona, he said, "The World Health Organization blindly believes in China. They are Chinese hand puppets. Accustomed to China-centric work. He gave us a lot of bad advice. '

In the letter, Trump wrote, the only way forward for the World Health Organization is if it can actually demonstrate independence from China.

Although many countries are praising the agency's initiative, in a video message yesterday, US Health Secretary Alex Azar said that many lives have been lost due to the failure to obtain and supply important information about Covid-19. We must be clear about the primary causes of this outbreak.

Critics say Trump is trying to put Udor Pindi on Budho's neck. He, who has previously praised China's response, is trying to divert attention from the failure of the United States to manage the epidemic.

Over 300 Nurses of Kolkata Hospitals Resigned, Left For Home “Manipur Clarifies Stand”

300 Nurses of Kolkata Hospitals Resigned

OVER 300 Nurses of Kolkata Hospitals Resigned

While both Kolkata and Howrah are fighting with a number of increased COVID-19 cases, over 300 nurses employed in various private hospitals have quit their jobs and left for their homes in Manipur, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand etc.
The Association of Hospitals of Eastern India (AHEI), a non-statutory body with 17 private medical facilities in Kolkata as members, has written to Chief Secretary Rajiva Sinha seeking his intervention in resolving the crisis.
At least 185 nurses left for Manipur earlier this week. On Saturday, 169 followed suit — 92 hailing from Manipur, 43 from Tripura, 32 from Odisha and two from Jharkhand, sources at the city’s private hospitals said.
Taking to Facebook, however, Manipur Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh rubbished the claim and said,

“No such advisory has been issued by the state. We are not asking anybody to return. We feel proud of them as they serve the patients in Calcutta, Delhi and Chennai.”“We have already said that we will compensate and reward them for treating COVID-19 patients. But if the nurses, doctors don’t feel comfortable in the hospitals where they are working that’s up to them… I cannot force them to stay there. It’s their choice. That might be the reason why they are coming back.”

A nurse, who left for Manipur earlier this week, said safety concerns and parental pressure were the two main reasons she quit her job.

“Our parents are concerned and we are stressed as the cases here are rising every day. Our state is a green state and we wish to go back. Our state government is helping us. Family and parents are our priority,” one of the nurses said

THE SUPER CYCLON 'AMPAN' WILL HIT AT HIGH SPEED ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

CYCLONE AMPHAN

WHAT IS CYCLONE AMPHAN?

"The cyclonic storm ‘Amphan’ pronounced as UM-PUN has intensified into a ‘super cyclone’ and is expected to hit the West Bengal and Bangladesh coasts as a very severe cyclone with a wind speed up to 185 km per hour."

Hurricane Ampan is getting stronger and stronger. Ampan can fall from Digha in this state to any area between Hatia Island in Bangladesh. Ampan's strength will increase several times in the next 24 hours. According to meteorologists, Ampan will look like a 'Super Cyclone Storm'. The speed of rotation of this very strong cyclone can be up to 160 kilometers per hour.

The worst-hit areas are Digha, Mandarmoni, Sundarbans beaches and coastal areas. Raw houses can collapse due to the storm. There is a possibility of uprooting trees and electricity poles. Coastal residents are being evacuated as a precautionary measure to prevent casualties. The state administration is keeping an eye on the whole situation. Disaster response forces have been deployed in coastal areas.

There may be loss of cultivation. On Saturday, the Center is coordinating with the state in this regard. The issue of 'social distance' is being kept in mind in dealing with this catastrophic situation in Corona. The administration of the coastal districts has been asked to be ready on behalf of the state.
According to the Alipore Meteorological Department, Ampan is located above the West-Central Bay of Bengal. It faces north. In a few hours, it will take a turn and start moving north-east. Now Ampan is 60 km away from Paradwip. Its distance from Digha is 930 km, Khepupara in Bangladesh is 1050 km. It is likely to hit a speed of 155 to 185 kmph on Wednesday afternoon.

Even its rotational speed can go up to around 175 kmph. If Ampan falls to the ground at such a speed, then there is a possibility of terrible damage. Heavy rains are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday. The storm may fall in Manipur.

The Stimulus Announced by the Government Which is a Total Sell-off: CPI

Total Sell-off: CPI

"The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India issued the following
statement today (on May 17, 2020) terming the stimulus as a total sell-off"

The CPI is of the view that the slew of measures announced by the Finance Minister following the Prime Ministers address to the Nation are a total sell off of India’s precious natural resources and assets. It is a brazen surrender to the US by raising FOI limit in defence production to 74 per cent. Allowing the private and corporate sector to participate in the strategic sectors like space, atomic power, coal, minerals, etc is detrimental to country’s economic sovereignty. Even in non-strategic sectors, the role of Public Sector Enterprises is made minimum and nil. On such major policy matters, the Parliament is completely bypassed.

At the time of COVID-1 9 crisis Modi government makes all efforts aggressively to impose its neo-liberal economic agenda that is privatisation and corporatisation of the economy. The people of India are wise enough to understand that self-reliance is not selling off of the national interest. Asking state governments to take loans instead of providing them adequate funds and financial support is nothing but abdication of responsibility by the Central government. This has exposed the so-called cooperative federalism of Mr. Modi.

The worst affected migrant workers, daily wage earners and poor people are left in hunger and despair. CPI has already given a call for nationwide protest on May 19, 2020 against the anti-people, anti-worker and anti-national reforms of Modi government.

The US company claims to get antibodies to prevent 100% corona: Sorrento Therapeutics

Sorrento Therapeutics

Sorrento Therapeutics in the United States has found a coronavirus antibody that has been shown in the laboratory to be able to prevent 100% of infections. The results of that pre-clinical lab test have now made people optimistic.

Sorrento Therapeutics Inc., a small-scale biopharmaceutical company in the United States, primarily studies human therapeutic antibodies for the treatment of cancer, inflammation, digestion, and infectious diseases.

A report by Business Insider, a US business and technology website, said the company's share price rose 244 percent on Friday after it claimed to have discovered the Covid-19 antibody. Researchers at the institute claim that pre-clinical trials of antibodies they have found have been shown to be 100% effective against the virus in the laboratory.

The company said it would develop an antibody cocktail that would act as a "protective shield" against the coronavirus. The results of their test will soon be submitted to a peer review journal. In addition the regulators will ask the antibody to evaluate the candidate's preferences and conduct a speedy review. If clinical research seems successful, they will work with pharmaceutical companies, governments and partners to increase production.
he market value of Sorrento stood at crore 549 million on Thursday, while on Friday it stood at crore 9 billion.

The technology website TechCrunch reports that it was an in vitro lab test that did not apply antibodies to any actual human body. Yet it is a potential innovation. Because, the company is working on making an antibody cocktail, which can provide protection against the virus even after mutation.

Sorrento said the antibody, called STI-1499, came out of their test, which completely blocked the interaction of SARS-Cove-2 spike proteins with human cells. This means that it prevents the virus from infecting the healthy cells of the host.

Sorrento's covid-shield is meant to deal with a powerful mixture of different antibodies, which will protect against various attacks of the virus. However, the agency said it would also seek the approval of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to develop STI-1499 antibodies as a single therapy.

TechCrunch says it is important to be careful that there is no cure or vaccine magic bullet in the treatment of SARS-Cov-2 or Covid-19. But it is still a promising discovery that needs to be kept in mind in clinical trials and control processes.

Add caption

Consequent upon Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s announcement of Rs 20 lakh crores economic package aimed at uplifting the economy weakened by the nation-wide lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic, Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh distributed emergency working capital finance to 41 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the State in a simple function held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat today. The assistance was provided in coordination with the State Bank of India and Punjab National Bank to enable the MSMEs to resume their normal functioning.

Speaking at the occasion, the Chief Minister said that announcement of 20 lakh crore economic package was a bold and historic step as the amount equals to 10% of the total GDP of the country. He opined that few countries could take such a decision and it had never happened in the history of the country. The Chief Minister then said that the Government took the daring step as the country needs to stimulate the economy while fighting COVID-19 pandemic at the same time. Following Prime Minister’s announcement, Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman had spelt out the details of the economic package in which support to MSME sector had been mentioned as a major component, the Chief Minister said.

In line with the Central Government’s decision, the State too needs to focus on agriculture, horticulture and MSME sectors to revive the State’s economy, the Chief Minister opined. Stating that Manipur stands first in the number of registration of MSMEs in the entire North East, and 50% of these MSMEs are owned by women, the Chief Minister observed that Manipur’s future lies on agro-based industries and MSMEs. Shri N. Biren Singh further said that financial assistance in the form of loans from different banks to these enterprises to restart their normal activities would prove to be a success as repayment rate is now encouragingly high in the State.

It may be mentioned that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi announced a Special Economic and Comprehensive Package of Rs. 20 lakh crore-equivalent to 10% of India’s GDP, in response to the various challenges arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic on May 12, 2020. Following this announcement, on May 13, 2020, the Union Finance Minister had announced various measures focused on ‘Getting back to work’ i.e. enabling employers and employees, businesses, especially Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, to get back to production and workers back to gainful employment. On May 14, 2020, the Union Finance Minister also announced measures to ameliorate the hardships faced specifically by migrant labourers, street vendors, migrant urban poor, small traders and small farmers.

The Government of Manipur strongly supports these measures and will continue to take necessary steps to implement the various measures announced by the Union Government, from time to time. Extension of institutional credit support by the Banks is an important component of the announced Economic package for which the State Government is working in close collaboration with the Banks and other stakeholders in Manipur.
