MANIPUR LATEST UPDATE COVID-19 (30TH MAY 2020)

                         Manipur has recorded three more Covid-19 case taking the tally to 62. A 19-year-old Gujarat returnee tested positive last night at the Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL), RIMS, Imphal, according to Dr Sasheekumar Mangang, additional director and spokesperson of Health Department, Manipur. The female patient has been admitted to the covid care facility at RIMS. She hails from Kanglatongbi. A 44- year-old woman from Churachandpur, a Chennai returnee and a 34-year-old man from Chandel district, a Mumbai returnee tested covid-19 positive at JNIMS today, according to Dr Sasheekumar Mangang, additional director and spokesperson of Health Department, Manipur. The patients have been admitted to the covid care facility at JNIMS. Now, the state’s covid-19 total tally has surged to 62. The number of active cases now stand at 55 after 7 have been recovered and discharged from different hospitals.
