The highest number of corona infections has been detected in the last 24 hours in the country. A new corona infection has been detected in 2,523 people. 23 people died at the same time. The number of corona diagnoses and deaths has increased compared to the previous day.
This information was given in the regular online briefing of the Department of Health on Friday on the situation of coronavirus infection in the country.
Earlier on Thursday, it was reported that 2,029 people were infected with corona in the country. 15 people died. In all, a total of 42,844 people have been infected with corona virus in the country. 572 people died.
509 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 6 thousand 934 people have recovered.
According to the briefing, 11,301 coronas were tested in the last 24 hours. The corona of 9,310 people was tested yesterday. So far 2 lakh 65 thousand 72 samples have been tested.
Corona is now tested in 49 labs (laboratories) in the country. On March 8, the first corona-infected person was announced in the country. The first death occurred on March 16.
Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department of Health, Professor Nasima Sultana, emphasized on maintaining social distance and adhering to hygiene rules to avoid the risk of corona. In the online briefing, he said, do not touch the nose-face-eyes unnecessarily. Only your awareness can save you from the virus. The only way to survive a cowardly war is to use a mask.
