Protests are going on during the curfew in America
George Floyd, a symbol of protest, called for change, paving the way for the perpetuation of 401 years of apartheid in America and the introduction of criminal law.The first tribute to George Floyd, 48, was laid to rest at the North Central University auditorium in Minneapolis on Thursday, June 4.
Scott Hagen, President of the University, announced the establishment of the George Floyd Memorial Scholarship in Floyd's honor during a welcome address to the Memorial Service in the presence of eminent persons representing various classes and professions, including members of the Floyd family. The scholarship will help Young Black American leaders in higher education.
And Hagen called for the introduction of such scholarships in every university. Then racist attitude will not be awakened in everyone. As has been the case in the last 10 days of protests.
Everywhere the presence of whites, Latinos and Asians is being observed more than that of black men and women. In this way, Hager commented that a common consciousness is gradually awakening in the young society for humanity. Everyone present at the time applauded the initiative and the rich pledged to contribute to the scholarship fund.
Note that there will be two more memorial and tribute gatherings in front of Floyd's coffin. One will be in Reyford, North Carolina on Saturday, the birthplace of George. From 1pm to 3pm at the Cap Fear Conference B headquarters. The last tribute and memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 9 in Houston City, Texas.
